DSpace v7.0-beta4 Release Notes

  • 🚀 DSpace 7.0 Beta 4 Release of the Backend / REST API only.

    🚀 ⚠️ PLEASE USE THE DSpace 7.0 Beta 4.1 release of the REST API. Unfortunately, the dspace-7.0-beta4 tagged release includes a major build/installation bug. This bug was fixed in dspace-7.0-beta4.1.

    🚀 As a Beta release, this is NOT PRODUCTION READY. Additional Beta-level releases are forthcoming which will continue to add features to 7.0. For a rough release timeline, see the DSpace 7 Release Goals.

    🚀 This DSpace Backend does not have a user friendly interface. Therefore, we highly recommend installing the DSpace 7 Frontend dspace-7.0-beta4 release) to use with this Backend. Please note that the Frontend and Backend need not be installed on the same machine.
