The send from alias feature works like this:
Say you have an alias e.g. [email protected] and you want to send an email from this alias to [email protected].
All you need to do is send your email to ebay+hello=[email protected] (this email must be sent from one of your account's verified recipients).
So you send the email to the alias and then add the + extension of the recipients email but you just replace the "@" with an "=". This is how VERP (variable envelope return path) works for handling bounces on many sites.
